In outpatient occupational therapy, schools, universities and workplaces can be analysed according to ergonomic standards and adapted appropriately if indicated.
Additional functions of the occupational therapist include counseling and assessing the need for electrically adjustable desks, office chairs, or special equipment as well as specific computer adaptations.
Larger adaptations such as barrier-free entry to the workplace and adjustments to toilets are carried out in collaberation with the Centre for Obstacle-free Construction in Muhen.
The goal is to create an ergonomically correct and convenient workplace.
