How can I get an appointment?

Every patient is free to contact us on his or her own initiative; however, we prefer that patients be referred by their managing physicians, as they can provide important information about co-existing medical conditions as well as previous examinations and treatments. In addition, we like to involve the managing doctor in the patient’s subsequent care.

Once a patient is referred by his or her physician and we have received the relevant medical reports and radiologic results, the patient receives our pain questionnaire. When this has been completed and returned to our Centre, it is analysed and the patient receives an appointment for an outpatient examination.

If you are insured with the “family doctor” model, it is essential that you be referred by your physician.

At least two hours’ time are allotted for the first appointment in our Pain Centre.
