Our library is specialized in scientific literature and narrative literature. It is not a public library but it is available to the following users:
We offer access to our Library Catalogue in which our media (scientific and narrative literature) are listed. We do not offer an interlibrary loan service.
We also offer access to the ParaDoc Database in which publications on the theme of spinal cord injury from various countries and in various languages are indexed. These include historical books and articles from 1819 onwards (medical research literature is not included). The Paradoc Database is intended to serve as a bibliography rather than as a lending catalogue. The books listed in the database are not available for lending. They can be consulted in the library. If you require more information about a specific article, please send us an email and we will be pleased to send it to you.
We are active in two areas: Scientific Literature and Narrative Literature
Readings
For us, literary readings are the highlights of the year. Announced well in advance, they provide an opportunity to examine the selected texts ourselves. We then encounter the author and can experience again and again the astonishing resonance of narrative literature with our own lives. Unforgettable!

Library Service on the Wards
Once a week our volunteers provide a selection of narrative literature to the patients on the wards. If you are looking for a book or would like information, we will help you as best we can. We are glad when a book is found to be moving, exciting, good and useful.
