Door-opening systems

Telescopic door
The telescopic door enables a folding wheelchair to be loaded effortlessly in four-door cars.
The driver unlocks the rear door manually and opens it about 30 degrees. He can then slide the door back electrically 25 centimetres. This leaves enough space between the door post and the door to slide in the folded wheelchair. Following this adaptation, the window cannot be lowered.

Swivel door
The rear-left door is adapted so that it opens backwards parallel to the vehicle, fully automatically at the push of a button. This design prevents the door from opening normally, although the window-lowering function is retained.
